After School Program

The after school program is funded through Hampton District One offers after school programming at Wade Hampton High School and North District Middle School through the HOPE 21st CCLC After school Grant.


In the after school program students have the opportunity for social, emotional, and academic enhancement. 
Some of the fun things that the WHHS after school provides
  • Tutoring
  • Partnerships with Low Country Food Bank where we offered a cooking class
  • Meditation Mondays: Where students learn the art of meditation for self regulation, and processing of the days events
  • Tuesdays for a Girl's Group to focus on the social, and emotional development of all things teenage girls. 
  • Write it out Wednesdays for students to collect their thoughts and write out whatever is on their minds. 
  • Thursday's is for art expression where students are lead to do an assortment of crafts.

      • painting canvas
      • jewelry makings
      • coloring
