Personal Pathways to Success:
Students will participate in the following activities: Career Interest Inventory, Career Portfolio, Work Ethic skills,Career Day Activities, Virtual Job Shadowing, Investigate labor market to see what jobs are in demand and research salaries, Resume, Cover letter and how to complete job and college applications, Career and College Exploration, Personal career counseling, Planning and Development of the Individual Graduation Plan(IGP), Mock Interviews, and Other career development activities.

RAAISE The Bar
RAAISE the Bar will serve 85 students in grades 9-12 and their families at WHHS. The program will operate from September to May, Monday through Friday, 15 hours weekly, twenty-five weeks annually. Hours will include 2 hours before school Monday to Thursday (7:15 AM – 7:45 AM) and 13 hours after school from 3:00 to 5:45 P.M Monday to Thursday and from 3:00-5:00 PM on Fridays. WHHS’s safe facilities will provide a nutritious snack and multiple educational, character education, fine arts, recreational, and preventive programs. Morning and evening classes will offer Adult Education, Parenting Classes, Fitness Classes, and extended media/technology center hours to accommodate students and parents. Saturday Academy classes will provide Parent-Child Time. RAAISE the Bar will improve academic achievement through homework assistance, tutoring, and academic classes. Certified teachers will teach core subjects using state standards to prepare students for HSAP and End-of-Course Exams. Boys and Girls Club (BGC), ACCESS Network, and Girls Circle and Boys Council curriculums recommended by Clemson University will help students avoid destructive behaviors that hinder success. WHHS coaches will structure recreation to develop physical and social skills. Fine arts teachers and cultural trips will expand experiential knowledge. Parent and family classes will strengthen family support.
